JRilla Da Great

JRilla Da Great is an emerging rapper, singer, and songwriter from Memphis, Tennessee, known for his dynamic flow and authentic storytelling. Influenced by the culture and musical legacy of his hometown, JRilla began developing his passion for songwriting and rapping during his middle school years, using music as a way to express the realities and energy of the Memphis streets.

Recognizing his talent early on, Jay Shields, CEO of the Southern Coalition Movement (SCM), stepped in to guide his artist development and later welcomed JRilla into SCM Ent. His debut single “Pressure,” released in Fall 2023, helped introduce his sound to a growing audience and gained traction through “Streets on Lock V1,” where JRilla delivered standout performances that helped establish him as a rising voice in Southern hip-hop.

JRilla continued expanding his reach with performances like Bigga Rankin’s “Trapping From The Basement” showcase, where his stage presence earned praise from industry veterans. He has also collaborated with Memphis artists NuMoney, Snoop Gee, and Dra Lotto, along with labelmate DJ Ms. Hypnotique, appearing on tracks featured on “Streets on Lock V3.”

In 2025, JRilla released his album “It Don’t Get No Rilla,” hosted by OG Bigga Rankin, further solidifying his momentum in the Southern music scene. His latest single “Level Up,” produced by Goliath the Goat, continues to showcase his growth as an artist as he keeps pushing forward and representing Memphis on a larger stage.
